Our Group
We are a group of senior students within the Virginia Tech School of Communication taking a course Digital Newsroom: Online. This senior level course is designed to push us to apply our journalistic skills to a newsroom environment. Tyler Ennis
Hi! I am Tyler, a Multimedia Journalism major at Virginia Tech. For this project, I wrote the story on Twisted Liquid, produced the mini-documentary story with Tomas, and did the 360 video story. Additionally, I helped create this website to display our work.
Tomas Williamson
I’m Tomas, a Multimedia Journalism major. For this project, I designed and wrote the data visualization story about tourism in the New River Valley. I produced the mini documentary story on Zepolli’s with Tyler Ennis.
Brooke Landers
Hello! I am studying Multimedia Journalism and Biodiversity Conservation at Virginia Tech. I produced the explainer story with Ashley and wrote a story on Blue Ridge Axe Throwing.
Ashley Wynn
Hey welcome to our website! I’m Ashley a Multimedia Journalism major with a double minor in Religion and Asian Area Studies. I wrote the story on the Fudge Lady of NRV and co-produced the explainer story with Brooke. I shot and edited the footage from our story.
